Ava August, then 14 She performed for an SOLD-OUT crowd in the 30,000 fans at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey game. Ava's appearances on The Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) and L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) had to be cancelled because of COVID-19. Ava August was the youngest performer, and appeared in the 19th season of American Idol when she was just 15 years old. Ava received the GOLDENTICKET during the Audition Round. And, then, advancing to the Genre, Duet, Showstopper and the Celebrity/Solo Top 16 and Top 10 Rounds. Ava got voted in the TOP 10 by the American people. Ava August performed two originals for American Idol, Neighbor boy and Ghost of You. Ava did a duet which was incredibly powerful along with Josh Groban, an internationally-acclaimed performer. Ava was the first to release her critically acclaimed song Daybreak at age fifteen. Daybreak was followed by her debut music video that was animated. Daybreak, along with Tropical Surf Hour was broadcasted on KX93.5 FM in the morning of 11/01/20. On the 29th of November, Daybreak was broadcast on 88.5 FM LA/OC prior to 11M listeners residing in Southern California.
