Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started working professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. Soon after she played Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. Molly was able to reprise the role in her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly was also on The Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. When she graduated from Princeton University, where she received an B.A. with a major in religion, and joined the Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. in Religious Studies. at the time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. Molly's acting career continued after her the graduation ceremony with a variety of Off Broadway plays, among them End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked as a TV actress in Royal Pains as well as the HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly participated involved in the in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in 2010 Westport Country Playhouse's staging of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly is best known for her role in the movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she plays teenage daughter Ali as well as the ABC comedy created by Jack Burditt, and featuring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
